We all love mysteries. We love to solve them, but Ascension is a mystery that we don’t need to solve yet. Today’s reading from Acts is full of signs and landmarks that make the apostles ask if now is the time to restore the kingdom to Israel. The ascension of our Lord marks another turning point for the apostles. Like the apostles, we are told to move forward and be His witnesses to all the earth.
