Galatians is believed to be the earliest known letter of Paul. It was written when the early Christians were still figuring out what being a believer of Christ looked like. Paul tells the Galatians (and us) that the law is meant to be guidance for us. There is no crib board to keep score because the game has already been won by Christ.
