Pentecost was a Jewish harvest festival that marked the fiftieth day after Passover. Today we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit to the apostles. The Holy Spirit is seen throughout the Old Testament from creation to Ezekiel. Pastor Chris reminded us today that the gifts of the Spirit are meant to build the body of Christ. Our Christian life is not a lonely life.
